I figured the death of the Queen and the royal family deserves its own thread.

There had been talk for years that Charles would pass on becoming king, and he'd let it pass on down to William, but I'm glad he's getting his time in the sun. Let's be honest, he's 73 now, so he won't be around for great deal longer. I would be very surprised if he outlives his mother, so maybe he will have 20 years or so. Then again, Prince Philip did live until he was 99, so who knows.

Good to see the 2 sons together. That entire saga has been embarrassing on several fronts. They should all get over themselves.
