I honestly don't think a Republican has a shot in hell unless Hilary/Bernie say something REALLY stupid to get the young people to not vote even more than they don't vote. I really hope Bernie can get the nom over Hilary, but I think it's all but settled that she's the next President. |

Hillary, she's stepped up her game on the mic since 8 years ago it would appear, and Obama is leaving Democratic party on too big a high for them to lose, Hillary vs Bernie is probably more of the election than Hillary vs GOP |

Trump, Hilary, Sanders - all terrible choices. The GOP would be better off with a Cruz/Rubio ticket but that's unlikely. |

Iowa caucuses are today. They don't technically mean anything, but it could be a huge momentum boost. Can Trump and Bernie turn their passion into votes? We'll find out today! |

Bernie needs to win today to even have a chance. Hope he pulls it off. |

Cruz wins and Hilary/Bernie pretty much tied. So we learn nothing except that polls (which had Trump and Bernie by double digits) are as useless as ever. |

Great performance by Rubio to be so close behind Cruz and Trump. |

I don't think Cruz winning at the same caucus Santorum and Huckabee did means a lot for his chances, he had to win with that type of demo. Rubio is real winner of the night going forward. |

He's still the frontrunner, but this is definitely a setback. As Shack said, barely beating Rubio was even worse than losing to Cruz. Now all the establishment people can rally around him rather than be split between 4 or 5 different candidates. |

Rubio looks like a winner coming out of Iowa, the RNC wants people to believe that. But Rubio's third-place finish was at the expense of other "establishment" candidates Bush, Kasich, and Christie each getting less than 3% of votes. Without suspending the campaigns, they already looked as if they were non-existent. Unless voters are easily swayed by the RNC and the media, this spells trouble for the Republican Party. |

From what i have been reading at the end of the day Trump lost because of evangelicals, they went against him big and they will be his downfall. |

It won't matter who the president is unless it's Trump. No president can make the necessary changes. Too much red tape. Nothing has changed in the US in 40 years. So might as well elect someone that the rest of the world can enjoy! |

Well, that sure escalated quickly. I was actually believing that Clinton/Sanders wouldn't get too heated, but tonight's debate has certainly changed that. ![]() |
