Opening Gas Reserves. Heard how he has promises to fill in the shortages but why is he OK with the Gas Prices going to 4 Dollars and soon to the 5 Dollars that it was under him before. Maybe he wants to see if we can beat the 5 Dollar Price that he previously was OK with!!!! And remember Gas Used to be 1.33. Sure wish my salary went up 4 times, Obama. |

The President does not control oil prices. I hope he leaves the reserves closed because it will have little effect on prices and the purposes of the reserve is not to tamp down oil prices. |

Then why is Obama talking tough, saying that he will work on gas prices and might open up the reserves. Just another example of Obama being clueless and showing he isn't a good President. |

So no one can defend Obama. Well he has been a bad President since Day 1. http://change.gov/ |

Blaming Obama for increasing gas prices is like blaming a cloud for not preventing a sun burn. Stupid people may make the connection but it's irrelevant. Investigate the Arab Revolution that's unfolding right now if you want to see why gas prices are rising. |

Maybe he watched too many Superman cartoons growing up.....He thinks he is Super Obama. PS... Is obama still working on that old oil spill, as I remember he said that he wouldn't stop until the water was like it was before the oil spill! |

So... Obama sucks because he says he'll do things and he doesn't do them all. Goldie, what politician would you say does not meet that criteria? |

I do think Obama has some blame for current gas prices now. About a week ago, Qaddafi was this close to ending the rebellion and restoring normalcy to his oil production but now Libya is being bombed and hit by constant air strikes while the rebellion lives on. Oil prices are now rising yet again after they began to stabilize and decrease. Just a thought. |

That's kinda wrong to say as France made the first move and Obama only followed suit...but to be fair, you did did say "has some," but I feel even that is saying a lot considering the aid to rebels happened rather the US contributed or did not. Here in Britain, the US's involvement is not even mentioned as much as the UK's (obviously) and France's. I just think US media pundits have overblown the military's invovlement in this affair. |

Well prices seemed to be going down in my area but with oil hovering around 105 instead of sinking back below 100 pre-Libya crisis, it's certain to bring gas costs right back up again. Let's not cover our eyes and pretend the phony Libyan intervention is doing anything but keeping oil high out of fear. |
