Not surprising, I suppose, but apparently the red states buy tons more porn online than the blue states, despite population differences, with Mormon-led Utah being the biggest purchaser.

Well, all the debunking says is that the numbers are close enough that there is no real statistical difference between blue states and red states.

Of course, this leads to this point: Since residents of red states tend to be more religious and preach against porn more, shouldn't their numbers be significantly lower?

It's the hypocricy that was the purpose of this thread really. I really hate being preached to by people who don't practice what they preach. This to me is like closeted Catholic preachers who preach against gay rights.

The only people that should be accused of hypocrisy are the ones rallying against porn, while at the same time consuming porn. Everyone else should get a pass, regardless of which state they reside in.

Meh. If you're going to correlate a person's pornographic consumption to his or her politics, then consider that each state is basically split in half between the left and the right (no state is absurdly left or absurdly right). It shouldn't be a surprise to hear that all states consume porn about evenly, since they are split about evenly between the pro-porn and anti-porn.
