The funniest part of this list is the thing that he found wrong about the bill included volcano monitoring. Does anybody else see the irony in the Governor of Louisiana telling the whole of the country that potential disaster monitoring is extraneous? God Bless Louisiana, they sure know how to pick 'em. |

Yeah he thought Louisiana was more important than the U.S. I loved how he said we overcame slavery. No we didn't moron it took a Civil War to get rid of it. |

He started really slow, the speech just wasn't working, cringe worthy at points it came off as too much of a postured commercial. By the end, he was doing better. Either way, I like Jindal the politician, and I think he has a national future. The guy is a staunch fiscal conservative, he wants to bring Republicans back to the values that I want more of with one exception: Gay rights. To that end he is a typical Republican. Despite that, he's a very bright guy, and someone worth watching, assuming he can find a way to give a better speech. |

I think he is way too young he will be like 40 in 2012, that is younger than Kennedy. |

That's to be expected in the minority party response, although I'm not sure it's going to work so well against Obama. He did make the point that Republicans had lost their way. I hope means it. It's one thing to suddenly rediscover fiscal responsibility with a Democratic president, it's another to keep it when they regain power. |

His look reminded me of Harvey Two-Face. If you look closely at his face during the speech, imagine a line from where his hair splits to the bottom of the face. The skin tone is different between the left and right side and one side of the face is longer. He has one of the most non-symmetric faces such that it looks like two different people hodgepodged into one. |

The tone was really off, that's for sure. But i've followed this guy for a little over the year now and I still like him. I do like in the end that he started ripping on the republicans for not standing by their beliefs. hopefully he losses the whole talking to us like 1st graders. It'll be interesting in the following years what role he takes in the future of the party. |

He says high-speed rail is "waste," but it's exactly the kind of infrastructure spending that Republicans are moaning should be in the bill instead of the other supposed non-stimulus programs. It puts people to work and provides funding for transportation. And the volcano comment was just anti-science nonsense that is all too common from Republican lips these days. It would be like making fun of "something called hurricane monitoring." I wonder if the governor of Louisiana thinks funding for THAT would be a "waste" too. |
