This still doesn't change the botched interviews on national TV, but at least it exposes the gullibility of news media (and, let's face it, the anti-Palin bias that persisted there).

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. I heard something about a hoax but I didn't know the Africa thing was part of it. Geez. The reality of Palin is bad enough without having to make stuff up.

The sad thing here is that it was a hoax performed by Republicans wanting to smear her.

Apparently there are some Republicans who think that the only way to attack your opponent is by lying ("Obama is a Muslim! He hangs out with terrorists!" etc). And these scumbags of course have no problem in lying about their own as well. No honor among thieves.
