Well thinking about Obama coming to office, on I was wondering what kind of relations he will have with the Two Bush's and to Clinton.

So what were the worst/best relations ever between the current president and the former ones.

I know Eishenhower thought JFK was inexperienced but once they met they became good friends and took advice from each other. However thank God, JFK did not take Eisenhower's advice about Cuba.

I know Jimmy Carter and Ronald Regan hated each other a lot.

Of course Bush Sr had a close relation with Regan.

Also of course the two Bush's were very close.

John Quincy Adams or his father and their respective replacements come to mind.

Well Adams was friends with Jefferson, but they had a falling out over political issues. They did become friends again after Jefferson left the White House. I am not sure about John Quincy and Andrew Jackson. I know Henry Clay hated Jackson with a passion.

JQA and Jackson is perhaps the dirtiest campaign ever waged.

Yeah it was but Henry Clay was doing a lot of that. I would argue the 1800 campaign was worse. Hamilton slung mud at both Jefferson and Adams.

Rarely are Bigamy and pimping for the czar of Russia central issues.

Well Hamilton was a bastard. I know he called Jefferson a baby killer too, and Adams a spineless eel.
