Apparently she has one. Discuss.

Moreso in showbusiness. A low-rent Tina Fey impersonator maybe? Or a starring role in a sequel to Fargo.

I kind of suspect she'll be offered some sort of talk show.

She will have an eye for us on the Russians.

She's going to replace Stevens in the Senate, and then run for President in 2012 and fail terribly.

I expect a failed run in 2012, other than that promotional and rally work for the Republicans. She'll show up on Leno and Letterman once a year, etc.

She can sit on her throne in her newly decorated (but no pork spending!) office in Wasilla, Alaska and watch over both the U.S. and Russia at the same time! (and maybe even Canada!)
Watch out EU!

Yes Palin has a long fruitful political future ahead of her, just like I have a long future as a calvin klein underwear model.

Wait, who is "Carl" in the video? Did he just say that "we couldn't tell you about the in-fighting because all of it was off the record"? Isn't his job, as a "journalist" to seek out stories like this? Or did they (once again) confirm that Fox sucks the teat of the Republican Party and wouldn't release those reports out of fear of upsetting McCain's chances even more?

Hilarious.

Sarah...She has about the same cards as Hillary had 4 years ago.. If O fails we could have a real cat fight in 2012?

I think she has no prayer to be nominee. Romney is going to get so much dirt on her from McCain's people that he will use it to ruin her.

I think he knew what was going on, but he was not allowed to say. Many journalists know a lot of stuff off-the-record but don't tell anyone. That's just a code of journalism. Besides, lot of this stuff was already rumored but just never really told in full-detail.

No all this was already reported on the blog's and political websites, the mainstream Amercian news media failed massively by not reporting it.

It is sad, isn't it?? Here's a woman who had 3 weeks to preprare for a debate against a guy with over 30 years experience in the form of Joe Biden which really wasn't fair to her.. For the most part, everything in this world happens for a reason and I think this woman simply has too much on her plate to be a VP and care for a newborn with Down Syndrome who needs her more than ever right now and she should focus on that: Her family and simply try and fade from the media quietly..

^ Well, I don't feel that bad. LOL.

The newsweek article is pretty damning but I don't think it's all her fault. In terms of ShoppingGate, they gave her carte blanche. Yes, she spent like 100K on her husband and kids but the RNC should have stopped her.

She's denying that version of events. She now says she never left her hotel room and that clothes were either brought to her or simply stuffed away in the belly of their campaign plain, never to be seen or worn.

The fact is that the lies from both Palin's people and McCain's people have been so egregious that we might not ever know the real truth. And that was the problem with their campaign from the beginning.

I have no sympathy for this woman. Yes, it's McCain's fault for picking her without vetting her at all, but she accepted the job and had no problem repeatedly lying on the campaign trail about just about everything.

Quote:
“Never before in the history of American politics has any political candidate ever been so maligned by the unrepentant liberal biased media, the pseudo-intellectuals, the Hollywood elite, and the bloggers and the haters.”
Naomi Judd, introducing Gov. Sarah Palin at a rally in Springfield, Mo.

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008 ... lin&st=cse

http://www.thedailyshow.com/video/index ... -So-Dumb...

At the 1:02 mark of the clip Cameron states "We're told she wasn't actually able to name all the countries in North America."

Guess what? I bet neither Stewart of Cameron could either. None of the five people I talked to last week that wanted to make fun of her could. Everyone single one thought it was just Canada, Mexico and the U.S. I said what about Central America (Honduras, El Salvador, Guatmala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Belize) and some where like "Oh, yeah", and others were like "Isn't that part of South America"? Not to mention islands like Cuba, Haiti, and others. There are 23 countries in North America.

Now Judd is wrong about Palin being maligned more than any other candidate, for examples just look at Hillary Clinton over the last 18 months and Al Gore in 1999-2000. However, it doesn't do the country any good when candidates on either side are savaged by anonymous sources with an obvious conflict of interest or a media too lazy to contextualize statements or ideas.

For many of Sarah Palin's politics and ideas, I have no use for her as a politician. However, I don't like people being demonized on shoddy reporting and lynch mob mentality based on mind reading and questionable "facts".

Wasn't it NAFTA she was unable to name all the countries in? And that's just three.
