I have to get up at 5:30 a.m. so I can get to the polls before they open. I'm one of the attorneys working for the Obama campaign watching the polls and supervising to make sure no one gets turned away and there are no funny tricks or anything. So by the time they close and we get the results of the local precincts, it'll be 8:30 or so and then I'm off to the local Obama HQ to celebrate!

I may be going up to New Hampshire to help get out the vote there, but maybe not.

I have a paper due that day, and after that I expect a lot of people will go home and watch some of the coverage.

I'm voting before lunch. The poll is walking distance for me, so I'm taking the family out. I'm working on a sound mix the rest of the day.

Voting EARLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY in the morning, then having a relaxing day tomorrow because I don't have to go in to work. Then being a nervous, loopy chick glued to the television set tomorrow night.

Here on the west coast, the east coast polls close at 5p, so I'll be able to watch the returns earlier. Should be interesting. I expect some states to be called almost immediately. I hope PA is one of them. If PA goes to Obama, it's probably smooth sailing the rest of the way.

I'm working as a poll "leader" from 6:30-2pm tomorrow. Basically my job will be to make sure people don't get discouraged by long lines and make sure they stay in line and vote. I guess I will be passing out water/food, etc. I have training in an hour so we'll see.

For the results, we're gonna have three tvs in our living room, each on a different channel. And I'll probably have my laptop as well. I'm thinking of playing some kind of drinking game...not sure what we can do. A shot for every 50 electoral-votes and a beer every senate pickup? :P

A shot for ever state Obama picks up? You might be illby the end of the night, but maybe to lessen the pain on your liver you can doa shot for every 'swing' state he picks up?

Cool that you and Groucho are helping voters tomorrow.

I'm voting early (getting up at 9 and voting by 10), getting some copy work done for a professor, then going to both my classes :-( which only get out at 7.30 pm. Then I am going to try and run to a house party or club or something before the whole thing is already called. I worry it'll all be over by 8.30 before I even get somewhere fun to have a drink and celebrate.

I was invited to a Democratic Party get together after work. There are quite a few that I know of. If I manage to get out of work at a decent hour I'll head over there. They're going to have 3 or 4 large screen TVs. I assume we'll be watching CNN español or Univisión. Maybe they'll have one in English ... but I doubt it. Should be a great time.

Everyone here in PR is equally excited for the election.

And the designated driver could take a shot for every swing state McCain picks up. He'll still be stone-cold sober by the end of the night. :P

Waking up around 5am to go volunteering for the NO on 8 campaign at the polls from 6:30am-10am.

Then, going to vote. Maybe do another volunteer shift 11am-1pm.

Class from 2-3pm

Probably pressing refresh every 3 seconds at the CNN website after that.

around 6pm going to the Henry Fonda theater for the biggest viewing party in L.A.

Then around 9pm I may head over the the L.A. Gay and LEsbian Center where the rest of the NO on 8 campaign will probably be having a viewing party since they finish their last shifts at 8:30pm and the Fonda theater may be too packed.
