The price of gas is dropping, economic collapse has a way of doing that. Will it help McCain enough to make any dent in Obama's lead? |

I don't think it will matter given that many people have no home to drive back to anymore. And gas is still not that cheap. |

I think that most (... maybe?) people would realize that the reason that gas has declined so much in price is due to the decline in the price of oil because of the decrease in global demand, ie a good indication of a recession, and that everything recovered from hurricane season. I can't see it affecting either side. |

gas prices always go down before the election. I don't think it's gonna give McCain any real help. |

Gas prices go down after September for a various of reasons. I don't think that will effect the election that much. |

Well, the national avg has fallen about a full dollar now. 3.19 I think was the last number I saw. But this election is already decided in my opinion, nothing is going to change now. |

Usually, in economic turmoil people go REp.. Better financial people.. So low oil, seen as a stabilizer should usually help the Dems.. However, Mc got the upper shoe by coming back to solve the crisis.. Who do you trust? |

Gas price was at 3.49 for most of March, and just recently "jumped" to 3.55. |
