Sarah Palin For President In 2012..
If McCain somehow pulls this off and wins the 08 Election, it'll be because of her and it's because she connects with the average american out there not looking to play the whole dumb "Gotcha Game" like NBC and all the other Obama networks out there do.. I think this woman is pretty damn smart and proved so at the VP debate and it's going to be pretty hard for Tina Fey and SNL to mock her after her brilliant performance the other night.. She did a hell of a job for someone who had 5 weeks to prepare for this VS someone like Biden who's a 30 year veteran.. She has more executive experience than Obama and let's remember: If the Governor of Arkansas in the form of Bill Clinton could win the Presidency and run for 2 terms, I see no reason why the Governor of Alaska couldn't do it.. Palin has the same charm and charisma Clinton has and people connect with this..

I don't disagree with this. As I've said before, I like the appeal of not having a washington bureaucrat being in charge. She can spend these next 4 years just working on building her foreign policy and other agendas to further enhance her resume.

70m people watched the VP debate - almost 20m more peoples than the presidential debate!! Palin definitely has caused a stir and it could end up helping McCain's chances.

Re: Sarah Palin For President In 2012..
I'm finding it hard to take BKB's post seriously since it's literally a regurgitation of McCain-Palin talking points. Also, however in the world could SNL also make fun of Palin now? Also.
Also, I love that for the Palin-apologists, "What newspapers do you read" is a "gotcha question." They have these pathetically low standards for Republican candidates, and we're supposed to be worried about what they think of Obama. Also.
Also, they say that Palin has more experience than all of the other candidates combined, but now she can't be expected to do well in the debates because she's only been preparing for 5 weeks? Also.
Also.

What's your favorite color? 2. Which TV shows do you watch? 3. Do you like pie? 4. One lump or two? 5. Can you name any Presidents other than Bush?

It seems Obama's middle name is BKB's only non-"regurgitated talking point" on behalf of the McCain/Palin ticket. Just sayin'. Come to think of it, "Regurgitating [the] talking points [of another writer*]" could describe BKB's act on these boards. *and calling them his own

Palin has no chance at the nomination. It is between Romney and Huckbee right now if McCain loses.

it wont be huckabee.
romney has a good shot, he got a lot of peoples respect for dropping out when he did. if he can find something influential to do for the next few years, hell be in a great position to run.

Re: Sarah Palin For President In 2012..
It won't be Romney either.
It'll surely be some Republican that can be seen as new and fresh. The Republican Party wanted Palin to be this candidate, but throwing her into the fray without any practice, knowledge, etc. was just too much, and besides, I don't think the Republicans had any chance this year at the White House.
As for Palin running, I honestly don't think she cares much for Washington Politics, but didn't want to pass a chance up as VP. So I don't know if she'll run herself in the coming years, I think 2012 is too soon though.
