Re: Is Anyone Else Having A Biden-Palin Debate Party?
Yes indeed! ... though not nearly as grand as something at the Marriott. Most likely just some friends and coworkers. And a friend's mom is cooking for us all! Should be fun.

Should be fun. Well, it helps that I'm actually staying at the Marriott this weekend. Ahh! Well then! That certainly makes it easier. I'm been to some great hotel parties. I hope you enjoy. I was thinking at having it at my place, but then a friend offered for his mom to cook for us, and he has a 42" plasma. Thus, he won the rights to host.

My sister and I are desperately trying to locate a bar that is showing it. This is going to be so good with booze. As you call it, Loyal, "Must See TV."

Re: Is Anyone Else Having A Biden-Palin Debate Party?
I don't think it will be that big a deal because what's probably going to happen is Palin is going to spend her time attacking Obama and Biden is going to be attacking McCain. I doubt we'll see many sparks fly between them.

Yep! One of the local judges and his wife are coming by, and perhaps a few other lawyer friends who want to laugh at Palin. Should be a fun night!

hmmm... probably just my brother and I. Maybe I'll force my mom to watch and care for once. This makes me think I should have organized something.

Not a party, but I will be watching, of course. You don't even want to know how badly I want Palin to totally embarrass herself. I mean, I don't want to jinx it, but yeah.

It's funny to watch the Democratic and Republican pundits argue over who has the biggest gaffe machine. It almost feels like the adults have left the children unsupervised and everyone is tuning in to see which one is going to cause the most chaos. I'll probably watch it later on YouTube, as the Canadian debates are on tonight.

Re: Is Anyone Else Having A Biden-Palin Debate Party?
The debate format for this one is different from the one with Obama/McCain. This one will allow only short answers, it's tightly controlled so she'll probably get through it without too much damage. And then the media tomorrow will say she did surprisingly well.
