If McCain gets elected and then dies, there's a chance that next January she could be in charge of 2 wars and the massive financial sector bailouts.

I'm looking forward to her losing and then being the Republican presidential candidate in 2012, so we can beat her again.

I'd actually laugh if McCain wins in '08. It would at least guarantee a landslide against the Reps in 2012.

McCain doesn't have to die. Any incapacitation that prevents him from performance of his duties
and she's the President.

It's Dan Quayle all over again!

She looks like she has lost a lot of confidence over the past month.

Hilary Clinton would be the leader then not Obama.

If Obama loses, he is irrelevant like Kerry to the party.

Huh? If Obama gets elected, then there will still be an election in 2012 in which Republicans will have to put up a candidate to run against him, and Groucho is saying that he hopes Republicans will run her then so we can beat her again.

Anyone want to take bets on how long until she withdraws from the race to spend more time with her family?

COURIC: You met yesterday with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, who is for direct diplomacy with both Iran and Syria. Do you believe the U.S. should negotiate with leaders like President Assad and Ahmadinejad?

PALIN: I think, with Ahmadinejad, personally, he is not one to negotiate with. You can't just sit down with him with no preconditions being met. Barack Obama is so off-base in his proclamation that he would meet with some of these leaders around our world who would seek to destroy America and that, and without preconditions being met. That's beyond naïve. And it's beyond bad judgment.

COURIC: Are you saying Henry Kissinger ...

PALIN: It's dangerous.

COURIC: ... is naïve for supporting that?

PALIN: I've never heard Henry Kissinger say, "Yeah, I'll meet with these leaders without preconditions being met."

Henry Kissinger, last week: I do not believe that we can make conditions for the opening of negotiations [with Iran]. We ought, however, to be very clear about the content of negotiations and work it out with other countries and with our own government.

Funny, Obama tried that on McCain and it failed.

Clearly shows how massive and gigantic the difference of experience is between McCain and Palin.
