Is the sort of media blackout by a major party candidate for the vice presidency even precedented in the modern era? Has anyone ever simply outright refused to let their candidate be asked a question when they were running for a ticket as high as that? According to the McCain camp, if you ask a tough questions, you are "in the tank" for Obama. Or you are sexist. I'm not making that up. They demanded a shorter debate format for her against Palin, with shorter questions and less time to answer because THEY felt she was too inexperienced at debating to have a fair meet up with Biden. This is simply unbelievable. |
