About time; the fact is, as I said in other posts, if the media allows it to happen, it will, and if we Democrats don't fight back, we're going to lose again. You don't win a mudfight through logic and reason. And while we all wanted a reasonable campaign, it is very clear that the GOP has no intention of rising to the occassion. And to think I used to admire McCain for his integrity, honesty, and ability to rise above this kind of thing. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5ici5 ... http://www.mcclatchydc.com/staff/margar ... 52169.html Quote: Obama spokesman Bill Burton said Tuesday of McCain's ad: "It is shameful and downright perverse for the McCain campaign to use a bill that was written to protect young children from sexual predators as a recycled and discredited political attack against a father of two young girls." ![]() ![]() ![]() I have to apologize, Groucho. I rarely watch television anymore, but...isn't there news footage of gubernatorial candidate Palin supporting this 'bridge to nowhere'? Maybe on youtube or somewhere? I always wonder why these half-truths and lies go on without reference to archival footage? |

They have no choice. They lose on the issues. But I wouldn't get TOO excited about the media's sudden discovery of McCain and Palin's lies. McCain pulled ahead in the polls and the media needs him to come back down. If Obama pulls ahead, look for another backlash against him as well. |
