True, the left wing is trying to get nasty but admit it they are years behind the republicans in experience with negative attacks.

The stories are all suggestive, but facts are hard to come by. Did Palin actually ban books at the Wasilla Public Library?

Pinell-Stephens also had no record of any phone conversations with Emmons about the issue back then. Emmons was president of the Alaska Library Association at the time.

Given that, as yet, there is no documentation of any books having been banished from the Wasilla library by Mayor Palin, or even of which books she may have had in mind when she broached the subject, whence comes the considerable register of tomes now being circulated as "the list of books Palin tried to have banned"? The purging of the selections enumerated here from a public library would surely outrage any educator or book lover, with the listing including classics of literature by authors from William Shakespeare to William Faulkner, works by popular contemporary writers such as Stephen King and J.K. Rowling, and even such seemingly bland reference works as
Webster's Ninth New Collegiate Dictionary.

I love how Republican's call every attack on Palin "unsubstantiated" yet they ran their entire 2004 campaign on and an unsubstantiated (actually, proven false) claim made by Karl Ro...I mean "Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth."

It doesn't matter, at this point she could set fire to all the remaining First Folios and go up 5 more points with white women.

Did I read that right? To Kill a Mocking Bird almost banned from the library. That was high school reading material. . There goes any of the 0.1% minority votes thats left for the party

I don't know about that, but certainly she could do nothing that the wingnutosphere would not embrace her for. I've marveled at the unmitigated gall of these people to accuse Obama supporters or deifying him after 8 years of supporting a man who claims that Jesus chose him to lead this country. But then these are people without principles or shame.

Keep in mind: a large portion of the Republican voting base thinks censorship is perfectly reasonable. And they're coming to an Internet near you...
