And taxpayers paid 1/4 of that. No matter how you spin it, this is indeed a great example of the Rebs finding a REAL issue to talk about. Democratic convention wasted THOUSANDS of dollars of taxpayers money! Probably the first time ever in american politics, and certainly Rebs have never wasted such massive sums of money. But then again, the dumber the Republicans play it and the more they try to insult the intelligence of their voters, the more some people seem to eat from their hands.
