How much does a small american flag cost when you buy them in amounts of dozens of thousands? A few dollars, probably, as I could find similar, single flags for around 10 bucks in the internet and the prize tag always drops down considerably when you buy any item in thousands. And taxpayers paid 1/4 of that. No matter how you spin it, this is indeed a great example of the Rebs finding a REAL issue to talk about. Democratic convention wasted THOUSANDS of dollars of taxpayers money! Probably the first time ever in american politics, and certainly Rebs have never wasted such massive sums of money. But then again, the dumber the Republicans play it and the more they try to insult the intelligence of their voters, the more some people seem to eat from their hands. |

From the party that brought you Richard Nixon's dirty tricks... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/09/0 ... 24499.html The party had them all wrapped up and ready to be taken to another event. You note from the picture first posted that they seem quite nicely arranged for something that was going to be thrown away. They were in bags for transport safely. |
