I am probably the only person here who actually once got enough signatures to run for office but later dropped out (for state representative in Boston). The atheism would kill me now, especially where I now live. |

Probably all the crap I've said on several forums. 10,000 tasteless jokes. I think it's expected that people have a few moderate skeletons in their closets from when they are young, but most candidates have later on done so much serious work that it makes that stuff look tiny and long ago. Palin would probably have over time become a major potential presidential candidate in the next decade if McCain hadn't picked her. Pushing her onto the biggest stage so early in her career there's little to judge her by but her personal life story. |

Asshole comments, atheism, Mafia background in my family (long dead, but still), too much radicalism when younger, an unpronounceable surname (see #3), being friends with degenerate druggies. |
