It does a good job though of making it clear McCain would tax most people higher.

I should mention that as soon as I become financially independent, which would happen during the winner of this election's first presidential term, Obama's tax plan will do a lot more for me than McCain's.

Yes. Some reports I've read in the paper have said that anyone making over 200,000 a year could see as much as 45% of their income taxed because Obama is removing a cap on something. Can't remember what.

The only thing like that I'm aware of is the Social Security cap. The SS tax rate for employees is currently 6.2%, and again, it would only affect the portion of your income over $90K, which is where the cap is currently set. In fact, I think that number is probably included in this form, but I'm not sure about that.

But keep in mind that because of the SS cap, those making over $90K currently pay WAY LESS into SS as a percentage of income than do those making less. That makes it a regressive tax.
