None. Hillary's deadend supporters might, but not her or Bill.

Her friend Rendell today said that she's itching to run again. Which might have been just a casual comment by him but also might have been her speaking through him out of anger at whatever Bill and Hillary chose to be angry about today.

I am sorry the Hillary supports need to stop it. 49% of the country never want to see her as president. She will never get nominated if her supporters keep this up. If Obama loses right now i would bet on Mark Warner being the nominee in 2012.

I was hoping to head there today but my trip back from Tennessee was mangled.

What the fuck does me being a Clinton supporter have to do with Recreate 68?
sorry that wasn't directed at you, I was mad at the Hillary supporters on the news and hit quote instead of reply. Not sure why I said you. I noticed my mistake not long after and fixed it. Sorry about that.

Re: The Democratic Convention
I like this comment by conservative Andrew Sullivan about the Obamas:
There's no question that if you judge the candidates on their actual lives, rather than mythologies, the Obamas are extremely mainstream and conservative. Married for life, great parents, very humble beginnings, driven meritocrats. No divorce or adultery - and regular religious attendance and faith. And yet they are tagged as elitists and radicals. Yes, they're liberals in policy, although not radically so. But they're conservatives in their lives.
The same paradox can be seen in Obama himself: a policy liberal but a temperamental conservative. To see the Obamas as they are requires us to see them in these paradoxes. And to recognize that they may not be paradoxes at all.

On the contrary, McCain is rash and explosive and irresponsible. Like he's stuck on puberty.

Re: The Democratic Convention
Carville compared the first day to the first day back in 2004. Is he right? Maybe.
Anyway, there needs to be something done to spark that Democratic excitement we saw during the primary. It seems to be fading right now. The two latest National Poll has McCain leading by 2 points, and another have them tied. Obama had been enjoying comfortable mid-high single digit leads up until a few weeks ago, and over the past week it's been getting closer and closer, with all the recent polls having them tied, or one of them up 1 or 2 points.
Hopefully something is said over the next few days that sparks that interest again.
“Gods are great ... but the heart is greater. For it is from our hearts they come, and to our hearts they shall return.” “We were like gods at the dawning of the world, & our joy was so bright we could see nothing else but the other.” “There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man.” “You have to pretend you get an endgame. You have to carry on like you will; otherwise, you can't carry on at all.” "Paper is dead without words / Ink idle without a poem / All the world dead without stories."
The reason it is tied is because Obama think he has already won and McCain is going an all out frontal attack.

Chris Matthews confronts so-called PUMAs. I don't buy for a second that these are real Dems or Hillary supporters.

Montana governor should've worn a cowboy hat too!
Finally, someone takes jabs at McCain. Direct jabs. Yay more boos!

It's pretty obvious that they had a plan to introduce Obama and family on day 1 and start attacking McCain on day 2. Obvious unless you're in the media.
Media reaction to day 1: Dems blew it by not attacking McCain and going negative.
Media reaction to day 2: Dems blew it by going negative and attacking McCain too much.

Oh boy... Hillary is about to speak.
I love how Bill (who pretty much had an open mouth the whole time) lowered his jaw even further and licked his lips when he saw himself in the tribute video.
