Here's a great web commercial made by an Obama supporter:

Here's George Fearing who is running for 4th Congressional Dist. in Washington:

While he certainly likes to listen to people, I don't see what it is he has actually accomplished or done. He also has a boring voice.

What does he mean that McCain and Bush voted together more often as time went by? Is he comparing vetoes to McCain votes or positions that Bush favored (but did not vote on) with McCain votes and what is the source for this?

I also like the bit about Bush being the "worst president in history" then actually giving a source.

I will give him credit with the presentation because it looked professional.

Really good move on Obama's part. Hammer that fact that McCain is rich, just like Bush/RNC did with Kerry.

It's okay to be rich. It's not okay not to know how many houses one owns. That just smacks of elitism.

And can someone please tell me what the Republican obsession with arugula is all about? McCain owns so many houses he can't even keep track, but Obama is the elitist because he eats arugula? And is there even any quote about Obama saying anything about arugula or is that something they just made up because we all know that no Republicans shop at Whole Foods or eat foreign-sounding lettuce?

I hope McCain does say that and that he keeps that stuff up for a few more weeks. He's this-close to becoming a joke like 9/11 Rudy was.

these are the kinds of Ads Obama and democrats need to start running again like Bill Clinton did or else we are going to be very angry on Nov, 5th.

These ads may seem to be a joke to you guys but imo they are very effective, to people who doubt Obama and that number is close to 40% of the populace.

Essentially owning houses is an american ideal owning many just means you are succesful(Look at many sport celebraties). It is something that most americans can relate too even if they don't own a house....forgetting what you own is bad and I am in no way defending this I am just explaining the political ploy.
Eating Arugula and fancily named foods is something the average american does not do and can be seen as a way a person distinguishes himself by eating food that is generally more expensive and harder to find. It can be portrayed as out of synch with american ideas (though I would figure not knowing what a laser scanner woudl be more out of touch).

Personnally I don't care about these two issues. I find them both to be straw men and non sequiters. Nothing really follows from this stuff unless you are biased and ready to draw conclusions from anything.

Obama campaign responds to the literally made-up outrage by the McCain camp over Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comment:

Enough is enough. The McCain campaign’s attack tonight is a pathetic attempt to play the gender card about the use of a common analogy – the same analogy that Senator McCain himself used about Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s health care plan just last year. This phony lecture on gender sensitivity is the height of cynicism and lays bare the increasingly dishonorable campaign John McCain has chosen to run.

They're not just playing the gender card, though. They are LYING about Obama's comment. He didn't even mention Palin. He was talking about McCain's policies. So what does it say about that them they're claiming that a "lipstick on a pig" comment HAD to be aimed at Palin?

McCain ‘Lipstick’ ad pulled from YouTube due to possible copyright violation.»

Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) new web ad entitled “Lipstick” was pulled from YouTube earlier today due to a “copyright claim by CBS Interactive Inc.” The ad used a photo and a video clip of CBS News anchor Katie Couric.
