I am not usually the one to point out media bias when it comes to the Dems race, but this one is pretty obvious. Shame on CNN for letting such obviously biased title slip through the cracks (not the first time). Although, I have to admit, it's kind of funny.

I am not sure who this is more offensive to: Clinton or West Virginians.

I'm not offended (though I'm almost never offended by anything), but it's clear how bias the media is.

And before one can change the future, they must focus on the present first.

It's the same thing others are reporting too. Of course by saying the future, and not the fall election it might have sounded a little biased if you didn't know that's what they meant. But what they are saying is the widespread consensus today in many headlines.

Such as this one.

Unless you were just making a joke about West Va. people being stuck in the past, in that case nevermind. ;)

Actually, I didn't realize that's what they meant. It makes more sense now, as he is the obvious nominee (and I do believe he'll be elected president). Still, the headline could've been worded a bit better.

Oh well, that's karmic revenge for trying to pass off single-digit victories in OH and PA as "big wins." :funny:

And by single you mean double right they were both 10% close to single but they are not single digit wins.

Gonna post the Wva stuff here tonight, yeah doesn't really matter, but still.

Exit Polls:

3/4 say Bill Clinton was important to their vote.

20% say Obama shares REV Wrights views "alot", while 30% say he shares them somewhat, 25% say not much, and 25% say not at all.

70% of Clinton voters supported her idea of a Gas Tax Holiday.
Just over 50% of Obama supporters called it a bad idea.

60% say Economy No.1 Issue. 20% say the Iraq War.

25% of Clinton supporters say Race is an issue.
10% of Obama supporters say Race is an issue.

20% of Clinton supporters said Gender was important.
20% of Obama supporters said Gender was important.

70% say the race should continue, 25% say it should end ASAP.

Clinton Supporters on Obama vs McCain:

30% support Obama.
60% support McCain.
10% stay home.

Obama Supporters on Clinton vs McCain:

50% support Clinton.
30% support McCain.
20% stay home.

95% White Turnout.

9.2% in PA. Rounds down to 9.0%
8.8% in OH. Rounds up to 9.0%

Karma's a bitch. :wub2:

I'm predicting a 71-26 Clinton WV victory right now. 45 points is slightly above where WV's overall demographics would put the results, but should be accurate given the relative amount of campaigning that has occurred from the candidates.

Final OH results

Hillary Clinton 1,212,362 54.29% 74
Barack Obama 982,489 44.00% 67
John Edwards 38,305 1.72% 0

that is a 10.29% difference not that it matters

I doubt that. Edwards is still on the ballot (didnt know this until I voted earlier), and I'm sure he will still receieve a few white votes from here.

My gripe is not with the trivial difference between 9% and 10%. It's with the media lapping up Clinton's spin of PA and OH (16? net delegates) being "big wins", as if they're on the same scale as our 28% victory in VA (25 delegates from one state alone). By her definition of having "won states Democrats need to win in November," she must've given up on Vermont, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland... God forbid, Washington DC!

Edwards accounts for the other 3%.

I agree, but the HIllary spin machine lost me back in December 07.

Well VA was a big win for Obama and it was all over the press for weeks non stop. Media sensationalizes but since Iowa has mostly favored Obama.
Edwards is still on the ballot in WV or at least he is showing up in polls.

I'd say the Jeremiah Wright coverage cancelled out all the positive press. A wash, more or less.
