I think the wording is funny, but we know what her intent was, rich people have a social responsibility to help the poor. That said the media harps on anything you say, twists it and makes it look worse then it is. It would have been to say, being rich I am thankful to have been successful but part of success is giving back, blah blah. Americans hear sounds bites, as the come home and flip past the news during dinner. |

I've found though when I drink Coke my complexion worsens. When I switch to Starbucks bottled Frappaccino's, it doesn't. Anyone with half a brain got what she said, given that they heard everything she said. Most people probably just hurt the sound bite. |

Nothing wrong with that statement. Becoming rich is part of the American dream. The Clintons deserved their $109 million, paid their fair share of taxes, and gave an admirable amount to charity. They just have no business calling the son of a single mother elitist. |
