Apparently Clinton fund raisers are trying to intimidate Pelosi into backing down from her statement that super delegates should vote for the pledged-delegate leader. Even if one disagrees with her position, that seems pretty heavy handed and could possibly backfire on Hillary. More here. Quote: The signees reminded the House leader from California of their support for the party's House campaign committee and said "therefore" she should "reflect in your comments a more open view" about superdelegates. This seems like a story that could blow up big in coming days. |

Its a bad idea. Supers should either represent regionally or should go with the popular vote. Otherwise there will be a Bush 2000 Florida-esque relapse. Winning the popular vote and losing on a technicality is just a bad idea. If Obama wins the popular vote, they should go for him. If he doesn't, they might still go for him, but that would seriously be the ugliest situation ever. I don't see it happening though (Hillary topping the popular vote, that is), so probably in actuality this won't become an issue. |

This story can wait a bit longer. I say don't publicize it until Indiana Jones and the Bosnian Snipers runs out of box office legs. |

Pelosi firm on not allowing superdelegates to tip race So that ends that I guess. |

Wow... It's actually a little sickening how desperate Hillary is for the nomination. |
