I find it utterly ridiculous that people will judge someone on their PASTOR.

I mean, I love Obama even though I know God doesn't exist.

Who knows how this will affect his campaign. Just like who knows how Ferrearo's (sp, not looking her up) comments will hurt Clinton's. Though, both Obama and Clinton have dismissed the comments, and both have quit the campaign. Ultimately, I doubt it's going to have any noticable affect since PA is still over a month away. More stuff is going to surface and overshadow this stuff.

The pastor was never even a part of the campaign so how can he quit something he wasn't a part of?

Ferraro was just stupid. Wright was just preaching his opinionated truth.

IN ADDITION, his relationship with wright hasn't been a SECRET and nor has the rev's Preachings, yet maybe because the "conservative" hosts like hannity and limbaugh have been drudging this up to no end lately is the reason it's come to the forefront.

Lastly, this won't change the inevitable of Obama winning the dem nod, but it will probably be a purse size problem in the general election.

It's still bad. That pastor was over the top, and Obama should have seen that coming. However, it will have blown over mostly by the time of the election.

This being the top story on Fox News every half hour shouldn't surprise anyone and doesn't make it a "big deal" either. The real question is why this and why now. I think this shows just how afraid the RNC is of Obama when they are trying desperately to pounce on him instead of Hillary since they know Hillary would be easier to beat.

Kids, grow up. In a heated election, everybody sinks fast. What matters is who sinks less in the end. Both candidates have a lot of sinking yet to come, both Obama and McCain. Democrats that think this election will be a cakewalk should remember the vaunted JFK's slim 0.2% victory over Richard Nixon.

What's with the parade of resignations anyhow? In my opinion, neither Gerry Ferraro nor Samantha Power deserved the merde. Is politics supposed to be a tea party or something?

How do you know he does? Isn't the burden on you to prove it?

I know God doesn't exist in the same way I know unicorns don't exist. Now, if someone suddenly finds evidence of a unicorn, then I may change my mind, but until then, I think I can be pretty confident in my knowledge.

I disagree with that. The burden is always on the person claiming something exists to prove it.

If I claim leprechauns exist, would you accept that? If not, would I win the argument by saying "Aha! You didn't prove they don't, therefore they must exist!"? No, logic doesn't work that way.

Logic is not a universal language when it comes to certain topics. Skepticism is minority phenomenon; my time spent on the campaign trail confirms that.
