So - reportedly the governor of NY has been involved in a prostitution ring.

My question to you guys is - how does NY politics work in terms of who would replace him?

Or is NY so jaded they'd just shrug it off and he'll continue. :P

I wasn't implying that his bad doings in any way rub off on her. Merely that the party will now have to pick another super delegate and her campaign will have to court them again.

I posted it in the other thread for a reason, it's not about spitzer per se, more about the numbers game.

Nope. Superdelegates do not get replaced. It's possible that if Paterson were not already a superdelegate (he is, and not due to his elected office) he would become one when he replaces Spitzer, but since that's not the case, there will just be one less superdelegate, like when whatshisname died.

First, I found it laughable he didn't resign immediately. I hope his career is done too.

Second, I'd like to know who Client 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 and so on were.

psst It's not smart to make fun of the opposing party when it's our party that's worth making fun of.

Actually he was caught in a FBI wire-tap. And worse he actually hired this girl to go from NY to Washington for a night, crossing state lines. She must be something.

Also, he right now seems to be in hiding trying to work with lawyers to keep out of jail.

I like in his press conference; I have to work this in private with my family plus trying to stay out of jail. And I guess all this leaves New York without a gov, or a lame-duck one.

Not really as that was the biggest point adjustment in over 5 years.
