Eagle you do realize that she has to win the votes in Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania by 65% or greater just to even get close to him right? Obama has this and the Presidency sewn up. Take your life savings and bet on that you'll be a rich man.

But you won't tell us your actual reasoning?

Post subject:  Re: My Prediction

I have said it elsewhere. In short: I think she wins Ohio, PA, and Texas. I think that the super delgates break for her. I think she is behind in pledged delegates, but winning overall. I think there is a brokered convention, and I think she wins the nomination.

it is not as simple as winning ohio and texas. wins in texas and ohio may still mean defeat if she barely beats him.

If she doesnt win Texas by a huge margin, I expect her to shrug it off again as though day laborers dont count SI

But its good to know that OBama is fighting a handicap match against both Clintons and still winning :P

I dedicate this song to Hillary

I'd like to hear your reasoning for it, especially since you posted this just after she lost her 9th (and maybe 10th) straight primary/caucus by huge margins.

I predict Obama for the nomination and the win, but it will be closer than many people think it will be.

Fidel Castro to win the Presidency as a 3rd party candidate.

Obama for the presidency. Hillary won't win Texas, and she is doomed if she can't win Texas. McCain has a good shot at the general election, though he is much weaker against Obama than against Clinton; and Obama has many issues to beat over McCain's head with, starting with the economy.

I'm not as sold as you on Obama in Texas, thus my prediction. But, you are right, if Obama wins Texas, he will win the nomination.

I also agree, for now, that if he wins the nomination he should win the presidency.

As for Texas, we'll see. I am on the ground in Houston, and I can comfortably make this claim:

Clinton has a reasonable but worse-than-even shot at winning the popular vote.

She is guaranteed to lose the delegate count. She will lose Houston, Dallas, and Austin by double digits. Given the way primary election delegates are apportioned here, her South Texas victories will not be able to compensate for this disadvantage. Obama will win the caucus by a landslide.

Damn you and you better understanding of Texas's delegate apportioning!

;)

A landslide Obama victory in inner-city Houston counts for two landslide Clinton victories in South Texas. Same applies to Dallas and Austin.

I can't help but see irony in Clinton's accusations that Obama has all style and no substance. Obama has lived up to his promise of inspiring new voters, whereas Clinton has failed miserably at living up to her promise of executive ability. She has no executive experience, and this presidential campaign is the largest organization she has ever run -- in terms of competence, it rates somewhere between Titanic and Hindenburg. Just look at her appointees. All loyalty and no competence. They reek of Alberto Gonzales and Harriet Miers.

Never underestimate Clinton ego. It's difficult for such a vast network of patronage to accept defeat.

I hate to say this but there's only one way she's getting the nomination and it involves sinister applications. I don't think a scandal could ruin Obama at this point, so I'm sure you know what I'm talking of then.

Lets see if this changes your mind.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080221/ap_ ... te_deficit
The AP has determined she needs to win every state left by a 57% average and that is not figuring that Obama will win Mississippi by a huge margin. At this point she needs to win Texas and Ohio by 70% to get it outright. Sure she could get enough delegates to throw the thing in the convention but who knows what mess that will bring.
