Post Hmm, Puerto Rico's democratic primary might be a huge factor
So, with the race so close between Clinton and Obama, our votes will be very important for once, we carry 63 delegates(8 of those are super delegates), and so, the 2 of them announced they will come here to PR to compaign, thats a first for PR.
The vote will be in June 7.

Who has the edge?
Well, Obama today got the endorsement of our governor, so thats a HUGE step back for him here, our governor's approval rating is as bad as Bush's in the states(he's also a corrupt mofo being investigated by the feds), pretty much everyone i know hates him, so its not good for Obama to have gotten his backing.
I know that the Clintons are very well liked here, But a poll has not been conducted yet, its being done as we speak.

Howard Dean probably would not allow the primary season to progress for that long.

Dean will make one of them drop out before then.

But the primary will still go on. So I don't understand why they shouldn't campaign in P.R. We dont know who will be left on the ticket.

It is too late. If the division lasts until August, Democrats are in deep trouble.

Why are some of these votes so late? Its like they dont even matter.

BTW - whats the story with Dean? What is his role in all this?

Dean is the democrat head; hes in charge of the party.

PR's wont matter because itll be down to 1 candidate by then.

Thanks

Thats why I think its silly to have votes so late. They should be all done by April IMO.

I really even think PA is too late. I think all states should be done by late March/early April. After PA, there are no big states left so it's like they don't matter at all.

heres the deal. we all know its mccain for the gop. no matter how close it on the democratic side, obama begining to line himself up against mccain more than Hillary-while shes still fighting him- is gonna do a big help if it comes down a "we gotta figure this out right now". Aside from having the most votes and states and probably most delegates, obama would be the most ready to jump into a head to head race.

He really is insanely corrupt. I can't imagine many Puerto Ricans liking him. The deficits he accumulated are insane. How's Puerto Rico this time of the year? I'll be there in March.
