If he wins Florida, than that is the only thing I got wrong! |

lol Expected Obama to win but Florida looked like it was going for Romney easily... Anyways strangest result is the GOP are pretty much control the house losing only 6 seats... So pretty much Obama cant pass anything like Healthcare reform. However I think he can work towards creating Financial stability in America... |

Congrats to the 21 people who got it right. The race was not as close as I thought it would be. I guess there is still some star power left in Obama since '08 and voters can relate more to him than they can to Romney. The perceived unfriendly stance on immigration and the lack of common sense in the abortion issue by the GOP national platform might have cost them a lot of Hispanic and women votes. Popular votes breakdown: Obama (D): 60,662,174 (50.4%) Romney (R): 57,820,742 (48.1%) Gary Johnson (Libertarian Party): 1,139,562 (0.9%) Jill Stein (Green Party): 396,684 (0.3%) (http://www.google.com/elections/ed/us/results) |

Find it surprising that Romney could not beat McCains 2008 vote total. |

I was very pleased to be wrong in this instance. On the other hand, I strongly urge you to guard against smugness - - elections are never a fait accompli - - 2016 approaches. |
