Good start for her. We'll see where the gap closes. Here are my final semi-cheating predictions:

North Carolina: Obama +16
Indiana: Clinton +4

+ 4 sounds right around 52-48 with exit polls

I think NC will be 54-46 or around a 8 point win for Obama

Unless CNN's exit polls are way off (I have seen them be off and/or be adjusted as the night goes on) than Clinton won indiana. She took the majority on male and female voters, so there really isn't much room for guesswork there. Again, this is if the exit polls are at all accurate.

My predictions:

North Carolina: Dead Heat - - Clinton-Obama tied
Indiana: Clinton +8

(Obama's exit polls are usually much higher than the final result.)

They have tended in the past to overestimate Obama in the Northern states and underestimate him in the Southern states. Will be interesting if anything changes in North Carolina. I think Wright has a had a small impact on Obama's uniqueness.

CNN calls North Carolina for Obama. I think they might have called it too early, but he most likely will win.

Gloria Borger is an idiot. She is comparing Edwards gathering 40% of the white vote in a No. Carolina GENERAL ELECTION and Obama collecting 36% in a Democratic Primary.

Why does Obama always win the voting block of people with a more affluent people who have a college education and HIllary always wins people who don't have College Degree or HIgh School Diploma?

The euphemism is "low information voter." The more educated somebody is, the harder he/she is to be fooled by stuff like gas tax gimmicks. To a high school dropout, "fuck the economic experts" sounds mighty appealing, just like when Bush said "fuck the foreign policy experts." It's funny both Dubya and Hillary declared "you are either with us, or against us." It's really a case of bamboozling the proletariat, to use some Bolshevik terminology.

The description is of Clinton's demographic strategy, not a blanket characterization of her supporters. Just because most of her supporters fall into (in my opinion) down-and-about demographics as a result of her battle plan, does not mean you or other intelligent Clinton supporters, like mdana, are stupid for supporting her. For that matter, mdana is vastly more well-versed in the intricacies of political operations than I am, and I should respect his stances much more, but being an ass is funner.

It's answers like this that cause some people think to Obama's non A-A supporters are elitist d-bags. I realize you are trying to be funny but to stereotype entire swaths of fellow dems as dumb, because they only have 2-3 years of college or could never afford college back 2-4 decades ago, due to family constraints doesn't do us any good.

Sure, Obama does better with a voter the more educated that voter is. However, why is it so often the first instinct to belittle fellow dems? There are serious class issues in this country which are never addressed and I find it distressing that someone of Groucho's intelligence and
education disregards empathy.

I mean I don't think of people like Bill Gates and Theodore Dreiser (flunked out of Indiana Univ.) as "dumb".

Clinton has a better narrative at least as she presents it. Presents her family as working class, father teaching her how to hunt and drive etc. Obama doesn't talk about his family life too often and he doesn't frame it as middle class. He went to a very elite prep school, Occidental, Columbia and Harvard. All three of these candates led sheltered lives compared to the vast majority of Americans, but Obama doesn't do enough to stress his normalcy, which may be a good calculated political decision, because it would weaken his brandin of uniqueness. However, I think that is one reason Clinton does better with non-college grads., who might be less atuned to the political coverage and just get snippets of information. I think they might be more susceptible to pandering. The Clinton's are masters at empathizing with the common person's plight which appeals to many voters, too.

Thanks for the comments angela, and I don't mean my comments to be attacks at Obama or his fans like angela and Groucho. Both candidates appeal to different demographics of the Democratic party and voters in general, I don't think we have to belittle either canidate's supporters to endorse our candidate. Yes, I have not always followed that advice in the past.
