So Hillary was fined by FEC for hiding the real reason for the Steele dossier payment. I can’t see how that’s any better than Trump’s business filings charge and just as old, in fact it’s conceivable a Republican could charge her in retaliation. Ultimately the best thing may be if Supreme Court overturns this to not set precedent that minor accounting thing during an election = jail felony.

Musk like Trump is not ideological driven. Suck up to Musk and he will come back to the “Left.” Promise to remove all of Trump’s legal and financial problems and he’ll do what ever you want.

They could and probably should?

BY FAR the biggest difference between anything Trump vs. Hillary is that a legit all-knowing Trump insider (Cohen) turned on him. Go my knowledge, that has not happened with anyone else.

To a point. Musk is s HUGE environmentalist guy, he has more of code than DT ever will, if prime Bill Clinton ran for Prez again, I think Musk is a giant dem

Not sure of the facts of the case, but if they have evidence and a credible case that can prove intent and a financial cover up there of, then yes they should. The Clintons are corrupt too, there is a reason I think Bill and Donald were close friends before the 2016 election. I’m sure the two of them spent a lot of time together with Jeffry Epstein.

That’s fair. A lot of people also don’t take advantage of first time home buyer perks

So many things. So many young people are so spoiled today that they do not know any better.

They're turning Trump into a persecuted martyr and it's going to galvanize his supporters to go vote in November, meanwhile everyone who would've voted Democrat under 30 hates Biden with a passion thanks to the Gaza situation and will refuse to vote.

They don’t think it will be better but it might be enough to keep the already low propensity voting group home.

If Biden can broker a peace between Palestine and Israel with Egypt then we might see this go away.

The only verdict likely coming before voting begins is now behind us. Biden must accomplish a few key policy things VERY soon with Israel war and southern border, by many means necessary, and then begin the general election pivot to moderates - emphasize cooperation and bipartisan success, be less antagonistic towards trump supporters and business owners, etc. The debate should be Biden calmly talking to the moderator while DT self-destructs. Empathize with those who are not where they want to be while not what you have accomplished and demonstrate, in the most obvious terms, the contrast in choices.

Biden must do this. If he keeps getting pulled down the combative rabit role of the far left, he may ave some problems ahead.

Not going to lie though, it has absolutely started to feel like the Biden campaign has been fucking around - the De Niro escape and "Blacks for Biden" rally were absolutely embarrassing. What the hell were they thinking?

Biden had an absolutely epic SOTU and the GOP had horrific response, but the GOP has gained full momentum from there. Within the media, they are completely unified around DT and their absurd message is resonating as a result.

The Dems messaging has been basically that "Trump sucks". Well, too many people seem to disagree with that and its really neutralizing the effectiveness of that message with undecideds. The entire Dem party seems way too divided at the moment. It feels like summer 2020 all over again except we can't just blame DT.

Biden has a fantastic first time, but in an election year, they have been WAY too slow to solve the border and to fix Gaza. these were issues at the SOTU 3 months ago - WHY are we still talking about them? Biden needs to do whatever is necessary to fix the border and Gaza issues, then he needs the fed to cut fucking interest rates. Lastly, the judge in NYC better not send Trump to jail.

I think this conviction’s political consequences are going to have a different reaction than perhaps thought of. For the first time in years I am seeing my progressive friends talk shit about Trump instead of Biden. For as much as this has “galvanized the right” (polls show it hasn’t as one vote is still only one vote) it has more over galvanized the left who has been stuck on Gaza. I think a lot on the left has been so disillusioned by Trump man bad rhetoric that had no meat on it, that now a showcase of the system actually holding a wealthy white businessman accountable has them believing a little more in the system. A galvanized left coupled with swing voters tired of Trump and concerned about his “burn the system down” rhetoric will win Biden 2024.

Post verdict polls look decent for Trump I believe though I'm sure both sides will pick the ones they like the most.

Almost every poll I have seen has seen a shift towards Biden. Nothing dramatic and Trump still has a slight lead, but a Biden shift nonetheless. Discouraging for Trump is that in the past two years results have shifted blue come election night in almost every battle.

Whoever is winning in the polls when early voting starts will probably win. 2022 the polls shifted to republicans in October but it was too late people had already started voting.

Darth, you’re right the last few years democrats have been overperforming polling in the Biden era. Though pre Biden it was usually republicans that overperformed polling.
