So, CNN just had a nice graphic that basically shows that the South of the US is still racist. Obama did worse there than any democratic candidate in the last five elections.

Most Alaskans consider his indictment and conviction a week attempt to try and get him removed.

Well you also had two Southerners running in 1992 and 1996 with Clinton and Gore. Gore in 2000. Then in 2004 you had a war veteran with a Southern running mate. This year you had two Northerners with no military experience. The South has the highest percentage of veterans of any of the regions of the US.

MI flips for the 11th or 12th time tonight. It'll still come down to Duluth.

Saxby down to 50.3% Also, apparently a shit ton of early votes have not yet been counted in GA, which, if true, would basically ensure a runoff.

I don't get it. 7 felonies. He wouldn't even be allowed to vote in Florida (not that that's right either).
Alaska is a strange, strange place.

Alaska is a strange, strange place.

Its got a lot to do with how long he has been around. There is also the general obsession with voting Republican when it comes to national government especially. And as I said earlier many consider his indictment and conviction a week and unworthy attempt to get rid of who most consider the greatest Alaskan politician ever. Im on the line simply because I don't like Begich, he has done a good sound job here in anchorage but for some reason he has always bothered me though I would vote for him as mayer over pretty much any republican. I think he would be better suited for governor of the state. So goodbye Palin 2010, that is if he is willing to run against her again.

So I ended up voting (provisional). yay!

Berkeley was CRAZY and still is. There were thousands of people marching around the town yelling, screaming "O-BA-MA, O-BA-MA." The band was playing, everyone in the dorms was out and chanting things. crazy fun. Too bad that Prop 8 lost though... Berkeley was a big No on Prop 8 town.

Glad that Oprah was available for comment. I made a joke about her being America's most beloved racist last night. I hadn't heard one comment from her about who she was voting for, I just assumed, based on how she's always trying to support blacks because...well, forgive the pun, but let's call a spade a spade here, she supports everybody black just because they are black. Could you imagine the shitstorm there would be if Howard Stern was as pro white as Oprah is pro black?

McCain is leading in GA (15 EV) and MO(11 EV) so most likely he'll get those electoral votes.
Obama is leading in NC(15 EV).

final numbers should look like this:

Obama 364
McCain 173

Until the crooks in the government and FDA figure out a way to control the money made from sales of pot, it'll never be legal across the board, even for medicinal purposes. Nobody challenges the fact that alcohol and cigarettes are bigger health hazzards.

Can someone answer where the "youth vote" we always hear about was? Looks like a similar % that they had in 2004.
