Re: Can we get an Election Day General Discussion Thread? I dont know much about american history, but I did take a course in University and it was basically all about race relations; so it's great to see how monumental this is the US history. I truly hope that nothing JFKish happens.
What kind of sucks is that in my eyes, Sarah Palin, kind of screwed it up for women. Thankfully Hillary was so strong that I think she'll be held as the example rather than Palin. But it would be great to see a woman elected in the US (even Canada).
