Republicans are racist as a matter of policy, from their opposition to affirmative action to their obsession with the Mexican (but not Canadian) borders, to their support of racial profiling, to the war on terror.

Illegal immigrants are an insult to legal immigrants, and race-based affirmative action is an insult to Asians like me that started with less and ended with more. Hell, education statistics often lump me in with "white" even though that's inaccurate after a hot Texas summer.

It's not about hating "Republicans" - hell, I was a registered Republican until recently. It's about hating whichever people happen to be making a hash out of my beloved country. Democrats in the days of Andrew Johnson were some of the most diabolical beings to inhabit this land.
