Less than 1% in for Ohio: Clinton 60%, Obama 38%

 Re: March 4th Championships
MSNBC just reported that there is a voting extension because they ran out of ballots in a couple counties, including the counties where Columbus (my county) and Cleveland are. Shows the continuing huge turnout of Democrats.

 Re: March 4th Championships
Exit Polls clearly had a stronger leading in VT then in Ohio, which I'll believe we'll still win, but they've learned there lesson from previous mistakes.

 Re: March 4th Championships
The Ohio polls are within margin of error, so they're being cautious, very cautious in fact after a couple of past disasters. They didn't call Wisconsin right away for Obama either even though the exit polls showed a bigger lead there.
Vermont is a different matter; when you're winning both men and women by 20%, it's very safe to call.
No update on Ohio for over 15 minutes; did they stop counting because some polls are still open?

The storms have to be affecting the reports. That's why some places extended voting to 9.

 Re: March 4th Championships
How are there around 450,000 votes counted in Texas and still under 1 percent counted?

 Re: March 4th Championships
Only four counties in Ohio have started reporting results, the most being Lake County, where Hillary is up almost 2-to-1 so far.

 Re: March 4th Championships
i didn't get to vote today in texas cause i forgot to register but 3 of my hispanic co-workers did. 2 voted for Obama (1 is going to vote in the caucus also) and the other voted for Hillary (not sure if she's doing the caucus). so 2 out of 3 hispanics chose Obama over Hillary. hope its the same all over teh state.

To those of you saying if Clinton loses Texas it's over ... maybe true, but she won't quit. So long as she wins Ohio, she'll be continuing.

 Re: March 4th Championships
And McCain clinched the nomination.
The exit polls calculation has Clinton 51.5% to 47.5% in Rhode Island and 50.0% to 48.5% in Texas, both within margin of error and not counting the early votes, so should be close for both places.

 Re: March 4th Championships
If Clinton can make Texas a dead heat and win RI and Ohio I would consider the night a win for her and a loss for Obama. IF that happened, I still think she has a chance.

 Re: March 4th Championships
Hillary's looking better than expected, but she needs to pull within at least 2-3% in Texas

 Re: March 4th Championships
So Hillary's got RI, and is winning 60/40 in Ohio. Quick, hurry media, negatively spin this so that she's not doing well, should drop out, and is just wasting everyone's time!

Interesting how it works, huh? Two weeks ago she was ahead of him by 20 points. Now if she squeaks out a victory in one, it's a big night for her.
