 Re: The Trump 2.0 Era
With Kemp not running, Georgia unfortunately is probably lean D. Though Raffensperger could at least keep it close.
Republicans best chance at a pickup now is Michigan.

 Re: The Trump 2.0 Era
Not sure how anyone who watched that NBC interview can walk away and think, yeah this guy is well put together.
Sorry zwack, I feel like the modern Republican Party and their conservative movement that they have cultivated for well over two decades is getting hamstrings by Trump. De Santis would have been far more successful at heralding this new era of conservatism. Instead you got Trump who is not really a Republican nor a true conservative

 Re: The Trump 2.0 Era
DeSantis would've been pretty good if he won but abortion probably costs him election, and they could have fearmongered about his LGBT history.

 Re: The Trump 2.0 Era
I do not agree with De Santis in his attack on marginalized groups, I don’t like his abuse of executive power in punishing deserting voices, and he gets way too distracted by culture war nonsense, but he can get shit done. I live in Florida and he does a great job during hurricanes and recently partnered with a Democrat to get a section of i4 expanded rapidly when Rick Scott never could. I prize when politicians can put aside nonsense partisan politics to get stuff done. Hate Biden all you want, but he was good at this too.
And so hate DeSantis all you want as well, but he does get stuff done and does feel like he puts the well being of the state above nonsense politics. The country would have been well better off with him over Trump. Trump constantly puts himself and his ego above everything else and it is so nauseatingly obvious

The “U.S.” has no right or ability to survive. I tolerate it temporarily simply for the avoidance of sudden, reckless, and unnecessary emergency. In the future, it will simply comply, or be eliminated. Even unconditional surrender cannot save it; it is only the basic, minimum, or beginning of what’s necessary and required.

 Re: The Trump 2.0 Era
If Biden "what year did my son die/what year did Trump get elected" had won, the US wouldn't have had a president in the normal way, they've have had a group of Elites who are really running things and make the old guy to go on tv and sign things sometimes. If that wasn't already the case his first term. The idea of an empowered one guy to make decisions good or bad doesn't work that well with the Democrats/the left anymore, they're all about collectivism over individualism, whether it's the collective wisdom of a small politburo type group or bigger group.

Any effort to fight or fail in compliance has no future whatsoever, and will only possibly be eliminated, be relentlessly punished, and lead to accelerated death and extinction.

 Re: The Trump 2.0 Era
Shack, what are your thoughts on Trump a 400m dollar bribe from terrorist sympathizers in Qatar or him ending sanctions on Syria who’s president was a former member of Al-Queda?

Probably a fair assessment

 Re: The Trump 2.0 Era
It’s no more corrupt than the rest of the political system; Trump is just more flagrant and obvious about it.
You guys keep trying to make excuses because you fail to admit what complicity deserves.

Don’t complain to me now that it’s far too late. You certainly can’t say I didn’t warn you.
