He checks literally very person and professional box. Dems also badly, badly, need a new face to move forward. Someone who young voters haven't defined, who can't be instantly dismissed as incompetent, who feels and is authentic. Yes, he checks the DEI boxes too. The "hails from a swing state" box. An insanely gifted speaker. Likeable, down to Earth, and warm, but also serious and strong He, frankly, has a similar "warm, real, decent, competent" vibe that everyone has always loved about Michelle Obama.

I think these next few years will be terrible for "Hollywood Liberal career Politicians" ala Kamala, Shapiro, Wes Moore, or worst of all, John Kerry Jr. Gavin Newsome. Tim Walz is not going to win a national election. Bernie is too old. Love Pete B but we all know what his issue will be with ignorant morons in moderate states. It is horrible to say, but they cannot run another woman ala Whitmer.

Warnock is really the guy. I don't know if my thoughts will change on this. I really, really hope he runs. Warnock running on Sanders-style messaging of "Rebuild the Government" with a christian religious thread interwoven could be a pretty epic.

A Warnock-Whitmer type of ticket would be very intriguing.
