In the US how much you're allowed to protest definitely now depends on the cause, the student protests falls somewhere between right wing protests not really being allowed at all (as seen by J6 being treated like 9/11) and BLM protests being so encouraged that they were allowed to do it during covid.

Right wing protests are fairly commend. There is little done to deter them. The reason you don’t know this is because the police rarely do anything to impede right wing protests because of how tolerated they are. I think you have it the opposite as the college campus protests are extremely “left” wing

It’s true, the police have historically had a “right wing bias”. That’s a simplistic generalization though. I mean Kamala Harris was a prosecutor and could be considered “right wing” compared to other Democratics, but she’s not Rudy Giuliani.

Without mutual self-interest (or complicity) you can expect competition or reality whether you like it or not.

If an idea or something feels different, strange, or unusual to you, that is not a valid criticism. That is certainly not enough.
