First step to a World President...?
Belgian PM is first 'president of Europe'http://www.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/europe/11 ... index.htmlQuote: Brussels, Belgium (CNN) -- Belgium's prime minister, Herman Van Rompuy, has been appointed the first "president of Europe," British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said Thursday. Quote: Although the EU prides itself on being a club of democracies, the process of choosing its new leader was far from transparent or open.
The people of Europe had no say, not even through their parliamentarians. Anyone in Europe have any idea of what your new leader does? Exactly what type of power does he actually hold over the other Presidents? Is this just some type of symbolic position handling only mundane governmental affairs and votes like a Vice President of the United States?

Correction. Absolutely none.
This is again one of those positions to make the population of Europe believe that the politicians are actually doing anything for them. Meanwhile, he will have free rides, airfares, bonuses, pension, etc. all paid by the peoples taxes.

Not in our lifetime, but if we don't blow ourselves up, I'm sure it'll happen in time.

We call her Charles or, perhaps, William.
