Clarification on electoral votes
We still do not know the results of Missouri and North Carolina when CNN has reported that 100% of precincts have reported.
Going by the results as it is now MO has gone Republican and NC Democrat.
But they have not been announced or confirmed, why? Are there other votes not counted? But where would it come from if 100% have reported?
I would also like to know about early voting, provisional and absentee ballots, have they all not been counted yet?
538 reported that in Alaska the race for the Senate seat had not counted any of this, but that makes no sense.
Why wouldn't they count it? And this leads me to my final question, if these have not been counted in other states could some states actually change hands still?
I mean it would be pretty embarrassing after it being called for two days already but if the number of votes are high and skew to one party the gaps in Indiana and Montana look within striking distance.
