People always say that she's the counter-point on The View, but none of the other ladies even come close to evoking the same level of partisanship.

To her credit, she has improved a bit in terms of her debating skills over the past couple of seasons. I think being pwned by Rosie O'Donell on national TV everyday for a year would probably motivate you to better yourself.

I have a bad image of Elisabeth going into politics in the future. She was talking trash but she seemed like a more comfortable Palin on the stage.

well when she isn't talking about politics, she isn't that bad of a person. but The View is an international show, and she comes across as a spokesperson for all Republicans. so that doesn't help, but then again it also doesn't help when Al Jeezera news crew is going around to all these McCain/Palin rallies.

at the end of the day she isn't Ann Coulter. Elisabeth is actually really funny and is quite human. even when she dribbles shit, she makes me laugh.

I wouldn't be all that surprised to see her run for Congress in a few years. Watching her on The View is like watching Sarah Palin go through her talking points. I think the GOP base would love her. She's only 31, I'm sure she has a lot a head of her (unfortunately).

while Joy Blue, i wouldn't call her polar opposite to Elisabeth. she's admitted to liking McCain before, and she has openly criticized the dems, i doubt you could get Elisabeth to fault the GOP in anyway shape or form.

Agreed. As mentioned earlier...total tool. She's more loyal to the Republican party than her own ideology or beliefs, at this point. I strongly suspect that she's trying to position herself to run under the GOP at some point down the road.

As for partisanship, Joy is pretty solid blue but doesn't even come close to the kind of irrationality and spinning that Elisabitch engages in to defend McCain/Palin. If you were to rate them on a scale of 1 to 10 - 10 being extremely conservative, 1 extremely liberal, and the mid-point 5 being neither.

I'd say Barbara is slightly more liberal. maybe a 4.

And this came a day after she was on national television screaming about the Wright BS and how she was going to fight Obama "until the end."

Remember that, according to Hasselbeck and most of the wingnuts like her, criticizing the president is treasonous and un-American, particularly in a time of war.

If I were on the View, I'd remind her of this every time she started to open her stupid pie-hole.
