I'm curious if anybody knows when ticket information for the debates usually become available. The CPD website says "Mid-September". I'm gonna try to make it into the VP debate

Palin and Biden will set be a huge debate....

Perhaps the most watched vice president debate ever...

Biden will get owned because he is boring even though he knows the issues. Palin will speak the common talk and win over Blue Collar types.

Biden has been a poor choice not Palin... :funny: :funny:

No way.. Biden can be very tough. Palin will have to come off as intelligent and knowledgeable, which so far appears to be a stretch for her.

The whole idea will be for Palin to go on the attack and make Biden attack and make it into one big slug fest.

I agree with Manny here... it's Palin's debate to lose. At this point in the race, she's more charismatic than even Obama.

but in that hasn't she raised expectations to the point where it's no longer a Biden+14 spread, and she will have to perform to a level we didn't think she needed to last week.

I wonder how they will get the audience for these events. Has anyone ever been to one? Do you get tickets somehow or something?

Palin has nothing to attack him on though, but its the opposite for Biden. If Palin just tries to be a bitch, thats how shell be percieved.

How? She has nothing to throw punches with. Today she didnt know what fannie was. shes said she doesnt know a vp does. Look, I know you guys are excited, but you have to stay realistic. The buzz from pick WILL ware off. A debate performance is always 100% based on issues, and Palin cant go out and say things that arent true or she will get called on it in public.

Dude are you serious?? You should watch some Biden debates, he was the scene stealer from the dems. hes as witty as they come.

I sincerely doubt Palin will appeal to blue collar votes at all. In a debate she cannot make things up like she has in speeches, Biden will undoubtedly call her on many of the things shes been saying and paint her as dishonest. "You were for the bridge to nowhere, you had 27 million from the government while you governor, you never sold a plane on ebay, Obama and Biden will lower taxes for everbody making under 600k a year, yatta yatta yatta".

I look forward to it.

No he will be boring and Palin will not...

That will tell who wins or loses as you can clearly tell this election has gone from issues to a popularity contest...

who ever makes the most funniest come backs or wittiest attacks will win because its just that kind of an election.

Also what happens when calls out Biden flatly saying Obama was not ready and if his VP choice thought, how can the American people...

Its a argument you guys hate but is resenting with many people.

She may not be winning over blue collar workers, but Obama clearly isn't either... :funny:

I have not heard a single thing about Biden since the Wednesday he was chosen...

imo Biden's effect is zero.

The truth is Obama may have picked the better VP, however its pointless if you do not win first, something the republicans understand really well. There mantra is "WIN GOD DAMN IT!!! " :funny: :funny:

He was head of the U.S. Senate's Foreign Relations Committee in 2003 and was instrumental in pushing the nation into Iraq...

He also eats kangaroo testicles.

The MEDIA has been relatively silent on Biden, since they have their very own reality show veepstakes winner to cover. But he's out there campaigning. In fact, I posted a video rebuttal to the McCain-Palin attacks and it was also posted by someone else. So it's out there.

Their mantra is "win at any cost, even if you have to lie, cheat and steal." For Republicans, the ends justify the means. It can be frustrating to be on the other side of that (Hillary believe in that mantra as well), but I don't subscribe to it, which often means losing. But I think it balances out. Enough people do catch on, and the worst case scenario this fall is a divided govt - with a Rep in the WH and Dems in charge of Congress. And that's not so bad.

I know truly and realistically he is out there, but as of now only political junkies can see him speak.
Palin is everywhere!!!

I saw the magazine stand she was everywhere!

McCain has reluctantly become a more conservative man, nonetheless he better then most of the Republicans to be bi-partisan.

Imo the McCain and Congress will not like each other but I think there would be more communication the under the Bush Years.
