 FOX News
Does anyone here watch FOX News on a consistent basis or as actual source of news?
Just watching 10 minutes of the channel makes my blood boil. I seriously want to punch someone.

I do!
Like... for 30 seconds a day.
But the worst news show in the history of the world is:
NANCY GRACE. God she is a horrible, HORRIBLE human being.

 Re: FOX News
Its no more annoying then any other US news network, that is to say an overflow of opinion and very little actual news.

I'm not saying they should reinstate it but something like it back would be nice, maybe like the UK laws on TV news (OFCOM regulate it i think) which oddly means the best news channel in the British Isles is the Rupert Murdoch owned Sky News.

 Re: FOX News
I don't really mind the bias of Fox News (I prefer CNN) but what goads me is the populism of the network. I can't stand the coverage of tire fires in Ohio, high speed chases, kidnapped women/kids, and fat cats.

I'd compare it more to MSNBC's recent coverage with Olbermann and Mathews, although even MSNBC has 3 hours of Scarborough on in the morning. I'm not sure if FNC has anything similar.

 Re: FOX News
I'm sorry. I fail to see how CNN measures anywhere near Fox News.

 Re: FOX News
CNN's only bias comes about in their obvious attempt to be unbiased...which sometimes prevents them from stating the truth on an issue (and forces them to present both sides, regardless of either one's merits).
MSNBC is biased just about as far to the left as Fox News is to the right, but they don't present themselves in such an unprofessional, constantly ignorant fashion. That said, Fox News is quite often entertaining, whereas MSNBC is usually not.

 Re: FOX News
Poor Kieth Olbermann Quote: MSNBC tried a bold experiment this year by putting two politically incendiary hosts, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, in the anchor chair to lead the cable news channel’s coverage of the election.
That experiment appears to be over.
After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent network NBC, the channel decided over the weekend that the NBC News correspondent and MSNBC host David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night. Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage.
The change  which comes in the home stretch of the long election cycle  is a direct result of tensions associated with the channel’s perceived shift to the political left. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/08/business/media/08msnbc.html?_r=2&hp=&oref=slogin&pagewanted=print&oref=sloginDavid Gregory is boring, but I guess he now gets to play the role of babysitter.

They did the same thing when they fired Phil Donahue because he was against the invasion, even though he was the highest rated show on their network. I thought they were a pretty good balance to FNC's right-wing bias, but I'd like to see them all be a little more objective. Since that's obviously not going to happen any time soon to FNC, it was nice to have a lefty prime time.

 Re: FOX News
The single best 24 hour news channel I have ever seen is probably Euronews, its nothing but news no opinion no blowhard pundits just news and sport and culture. Granted it is French based and rather esoteric with some of its coverage but after watching it I seriously can't see how anybody can call CNN/Fox/MSNBC anything other then bias nonsense.

I hate Obermann so I am all for him getting demoted!
As for the topic, Fox News is truly the worst.
