Post Hillary's approval rating

her 37 percent positive rating is the lowest the NBC/WSJ poll has recorded since March 2001, two months after she was elected to the U.S. Senate from New York.

This isn't the result of any media bias. For the last two weeks I've heard an onslaught of negative commentary about Obama. Even MSNBC which is the more liberal of the three major 24 hour news networks had Scarborough, Carlson and Buchanan insulting him just about every day.

And in case you're wondering why all the new threads lately - we need a few new topics to pass the Literature section. ;)

The poll was taken on March 24-25 and may partially reflect a Bosnia hit.

I'm hoping that at least some of this is due to exasperation and annoyance at her for keeping this thing going.

A new March 11-18 CNN poll also shows that in California, Obama now fares better than Hillary against McCain.

A new poll by the Public Policy Institute of California indicates if the election were held today, Obama would hold a 49-40 percent advantage over McCain in a hypothetical fall matchup there. Clinton’s 43-40 percent edge over McCain falls just outside the survey’s margin of error. Fifty-seven percent of independent voters in the state have a favorable view of Obama, while just 35 percent say they like Clinton.
