Background skin colour changed?

Post subject:  Background skin colour changed?
Did something happen to the layout? Before, the background used to be black on the sides but now it's all white. I find it very distracting. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Likely a local cache issue where your computer / browser thought it had the background image saved but didn't, so nothing was being displayed.

Yeah, I cleared the cache due to an unrelated problem. It must have done the trick.
