I've just had an unusual incident. I was reading the 10,000 BC Will Make Under $25 Mil OW and as I scrolled down to the bottom, the page was suddenly redirected to a "Malware Alarm" product page. Site Advisor indicated red (for malware). I was asked if I wanted the 'Malware Alarm free scan' and of course I said...no. I have AVG installed. It hasn't indicated anything yet. In trying to track a possible outlaw banner exploit all I could find was a banner for dot.tunes which I'm not sure caused anything, but when I clicked on the dot.tunes banner, Site Advisor showed this. Can admin look in to this?

We'll write to google about this. The ads are controlled by them. |

I was nearly nailed by a malware banner exploit posted via GoogleAds several months ago on an innocent ROMs site. It made them look bad for a couple of hours. Luckily for me, I had Download Express (download manager) pop up and ask me if I wanted to save the (background drive-by) 'installation' to disk, otherwise it would have installed silently. That was from a GoogleAd banner promoting a phony spyware product and it was yanked by Google within the hour. These malware POS appear to be slipping past reputable companies like Google by changing their name and domain and then buying banner space before the obvious ![]() ![]() |

This just happened to me. I hope it isn't a virus on my end. |

From what I can tell, there is no virus or an real harm being done. The issue seems to be spyware, and I am looking into it and have contacted our ad provider, etc. Obviously this is something we don't want happening, so thank you for pointing it out, we hope to have it fixed shortly. |

The issue should be gone, if anyone notices it again, please take note of as much information as possible. A screenshot if possible, and anything else you can think of. Thanks guys, and sorry about that. |
