Can we ban 'I Am Moses!' ?
Just on principle. I've never been this disturbed by anything on KJ.

Re: Can we ban 'I Am Moses!' ?
Personally, I think bannings in cases such as this should be democratically decided. If enough people find someone uncomfortable, even if they aren't breaking any rules, shouldn't that be enough of a reason to ban them?

Lets go with majority.
So, only 2,742 more people need to chime in favour of boot.

Loyal and I should count as 1500 each. So there, we already have a majority.

We don't ban people unless they break the rules.
Nebs, Juju, you both have the authority to personally PM this person and explain your, and other members, feelings with regard to his posting style. I suggest you do so rather than looking for the easy way out.

So we are stuck with him? Sadness.

Not promoting any bans here by saying this, but I just want to say that I really, really dislike Moses and Corpse. URGH.

But also, I need an enemy, and Michael's being a bitch and not posting much, that Moses guy is, I'm convinced, mentally retarded, and you're just so darn annoying. Ergo, I hate you

Moses has broken the rules! Maybe not rules directly related to KJ, but I'm sure enough dirt-digging would unveil some hefty broken rules from the so-called Moses. If that is his real name! Maybe his real name is Ergo.
Ergo, I ban thee!

It's simply uncool to want to ban someone just because you don't like them. You'd think jujubee and Nebs would know better, being a mod and admin.

What did this guy do? Dare to be new? Try to join in? You guys aren't the most welcoming bunch to new members (as evidenced by not averaging 2 new members a year), so I don't know if he's a problem or not.

And I'm not being sarcastically condescending. Someone new posts that doesn't post to our liking and we jump on him. We really aren't a welcoming bunch at all.

I dunno. I think there's a difference between being unaccepting of new posting styles and being put off by constant references to one's own genitalia, posting porn links, and implications of cyber-stuff going on.
Like, what kind of style is that? Creepy-ass nouveau?

People should be more welcoming here. Moses has made some creepy threads, but so have other people, and they haven't gotten half the shit Moses has.

Like, what kind of style is that? Creepy-ass nouveau? Pretty much agreed 100%. I am all for new members here. We need more people willing to talk about movies. But this guy is fucking creepy, and kind of stupid.
