The YouTube clips in signatures is slowing down every page load they're on, sometimes multiple times, plus major scrolling action.
But, maybe it's just me...

I'm with you on this one, bradley. Usually I just block images in signatures that I don't want to see, but I can't do it with videos. It'd be better if the video was just removed altogether. |

Gifs cause more problems for me. Like when Excel had 3 or so in his sig. The videos dont really slow anything down for me though.

I agree there should be a policy shift with regard to signatures. Some people's are too long, others too flashy, and youtube videos simply have no place in a signature. We will discuss it among the mods and admins and come up with a new rule. |

Bradley and trix have read my mind, because for about a week now I kept thinking about making a thread asking for youtube videos to not be allowed in signatures, or to ask if there was a way to block them. Ultimately, there isn't, and I find them to be an eyesore. But I can't simply block them like I do photos/gifs; otherwise, I wouldn't be complaining. Thanks Bradley, Eagle, Mods, etc. Peace, Mike |

We added a bit in the rules about signatures, and will pm the guys asking them to remove them. |
