But if I am correct, and you did feel your image was damaged, and baumer found out (no mav, I didn't tell him, couldn't care to tell him, and haven't discussed you and his relationship with him outside of why he bailed) then maybe he made it public to repair your mis-aligned image.

I never asked for the first apology, let alone apologies 2-5, so quit trying to pin it on me, as I clearly accepted it, but as I told you, and as you refuse to do, you have to start taking responsibility for what you do, not do it (more than once), apologize, and then think everything is cool. There is an accountability that you need to accept, and all you keep doing, is excusing yourself, and trying to redirect it at me, and that's not flying.

You're apology was fine, but it could and should have been in private. You also should have expected, especially after the second instance, that trust would be broken, and if you didn't, then I think you need to ask some questions of yourself. If I was in your position, the last thing I would be doing is trying to redirect anything against somebody that I was sorry for screwing over, but that's just me. It's really not making you look good, and as everyone can see, you started once again in this thread unprovoked with the personal attacks.

Oh well, Mav, I'll say something, just my personal opinion. I re-read everything baumer said, and I didn't find anything where he was provoking or he verbally attacked you. He didn't swear or curse, and he was sincerely discussing the issue at hand throughout. For the words/sentences that you highlighted, I don't find them a big deal or warrant any overreaction. It's benign. Some members have said much worse things to others publicly in this forum, and we've dealt with them accordingly. I don't really want to ask you to "show some maturity and let it go" since 1) you don't like people to call you that as you consider yourself one of the most mature persons in the forum, and 2) only you know how deeply you felt about the whole situation with baumer, but here I'd like to see you not keep coming back at baumer in this thread. My 2 cents.... Mav is a master at "innocently" getting under ones skin, and in particular loves to do it to mods, because when they push back he loves to play that innocence "I was just minding my business and suddenly you're attacking me... shouldn't mods have more character? Shouldn't something be done? How can this go unpunished?.." I need two hands to count the number of times he's done this recently. Heck, one mod he wanted reprimanded simply for supporting loyalfromlondon in a harmless awards show. Not to mention that he loves to post things publicly and ask others to mind their own business.

While I enjoy the verbal sparring with anybody, I'm guessing most don't. I suggest if you fall in that category to ignore him as it only feeds into his MO, and he'll turn around anything you say and only prolong an argument you don't want in the first place. It's his gift, and he is good at it. I give him props for that, and it is a style I'm working hard to learn, but will likely never master as well.
